Chip Morris
Charles ("Chip") Morris joined Integral in February 2002 as a Managing Director. Prior to joining
Integral, Chip worked for 14 years at T. Rowe Price Group in a variety of research and
portfolio management positions. From August 1991 through February 2002, he was portfolio
manager of the T. Rowe Price Science & Technology Fund and responsible for the firm's
investment strategy in technology. According to Lipper Analytical Services, the T.
Rowe Price Science & Technology Fund was the best performing domestic mutual fund of
any kind from its inception in September 1987 through December 1999, and during Chip's
tenure, the T. Rowe Price Science & Technology Fund was often listed among the best
performing technology mutual funds. Under his direction, assets in the T. Rowe Price
Science & Technology Fund and related institutional accounts grew from less than $200
million to over $24 billion, making it the largest science & technology fund in the
world. From August 1987 through August 1991, Chip worked with Roger McNamee and John
Powell as a research analyst on the T. Rowe Price Science & Technology and New
Horizons funds, covering such industries as communications, computers, information
services, and biotechnology. Chip was highlighted by Fortune Magazine as one of the
Top 10 Money Managers of the 1990s, was featured in Forbes A.S.A.P., has made several
appearances on CNN, CNNfn and CNBC, and was a repeat panelist on Barrons' Technology
Roundtable.
Chip graduated, summa cum laude, with a B.S. degree in Finance from Indiana University
and earned his M.B.A. from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business, where he
received the Alexander A. Robichek Award as the number one student in finance. Chip is a
Chartered Financial Analyst.
